Conference Details
WHEN: Sunday, December 8, starting at 2 PM and concluding on Monday, December 9, 12:30 PM (Note that Foundation for Jewish Camp’s Leaders Assembly will begin at 2 PM on Monday and conclude on Wednesday at 12 PM)
WHERE: The Jewish Camp Summit has reserved a room block at a hotel in downtown Chicago at a reduced rate of $149 + tax per night. Please note that reservations in the block are first-come, first-served and must be made by November 14, 2024. Hotel reservation information will be shared after you have registered.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: The 2024 JCamp 180 Conference is focused on leadership and designed for day and overnight camp lay leaders, executive directors or directors of camp, development professionals, and supporting organizations. JCamp 180 affiliates and grantees are expected to attend.
WHAT TO EXPECT: High-level plenaries and more than 30 timely workshops will ensure that new board members and first-time conference attendees, as well as seasoned veteran board members and staff, will find actionable learning to help them become stronger leaders at their camp, tackle challenges, and raise resources to support their work. Topics will cover fundraising strategies, governance best practices, and long-range planning. Attendees will come away from the conference with:
